Reddit marketing tools do one of three jobs (spot the thread, draft the reply, or get the comment posted), so the best one is the one that takes over the part you'd rather skip. As of Nov 3, 2026, keyword alerts start free on KWatch.io, Redreach drafts replies from $19 a month, and SlopMog posts comments for $0.60 each.
Every price was read on the vendor's own site that day, and every tool gets a line on when to pick it. For the groundwork no tool does for you, start with how to market on Reddit without getting banned.
- Keyword alerts
- KWatch.io at $19/mo for 20 Reddit keywords3, or F5Bot Gold at $49.99/mo for 200 keywords and Slack4.
- Listening
- Octolens at $199/mo, for every major platform in one feed, piped to Slack, an API or your own agents6.
- Drafts you post
- Redreach at $19/mo: 100 reply suggestions a month that you post from your own account9.
- Posted for you
- SlopMog at $0.60 a regular comment on the $99/mo plan, on Reddit and YouTube. The lowest price per posted comment of the four posting tools at that budget.
- An agency
- When you'd rather buy people than software. See what agencies charge.
Pick a Reddit marketing tool by the job
Every tool here answers one question differently: once a thread turns up, how much is left for you? Alert tools leave you reading it, writing the reply, posting it and checking on it later. Drafting tools leave you the posting and the checking, and posting tools leave you an approve button, or not even that. Three questions sort you into one of them.
Which kind of tool fits?
- 1.Who should write the reply?
- 2.Who should post it?
- 3.What's your budget a month?
Answer the three questions and the kind of tool that fits shows up here.
Every Reddit marketing tool, side by side
One row per tool, monthly billing unless a cell says otherwise. Read the last column first: who presses the post button, and from which account, is where these tools differ most.
Free Reddit marketing tools
Three tools cost nothing. Each free plan stops somewhere, and where it stops decides whether it works for a brand or only for a hobby.
Reddit Pro
Reddit's business suite
$0
- Trends: your keywords, top posts and the communities talking
- An AI summary of the busiest discussions
- Analytics for your profile's posts and comments
Pick it if: you want to see where your category gets discussed before paying for anything.
F5Bot
Free plan
$0
- 5 keywords across Reddit, Hacker News and Lobsters
- Email alerts, up to 20 a day
Pick it if: you're watching a side project or your own name.
KWatch.io
Free plan
$0
- 2 Reddit and 2 Hacker News keywords
- Email alerts
Pick it if: you have one brand name and one competitor to watch.
Reddit Pro is the best free research tool here, as long as you open it on a schedule. F5Bot is the usual free alert pick in other roundups, but its tiers page sends anyone "monitoring for a business, a client, or something you sell" to Gold4. KWatch.io's free plan carries no such line.
Alerts and listening tools
Alert tools watch Reddit, and usually more, for your keywords and tell you when they show up. They're the cheapest paid tier in this post and they leave the most work, because every alert is a thread you still read, answer, post in and check on later.
The hard part is sorting the alerts. One commenter who ran keyword alerts across 8 subreddits for 4 months put the hit rate like this:
maybe 1 in 30 mentions of a keyword is an actual buying intent thread, the rest are people venting, asking adjacent questions, or already mid thread with 40 comments by the time you arrive.
So the paid features that earn their price are the ones that cut noise: subreddit filters, exclusions and AI filtering. Here are the four paid tools, cheapest first.
- Watches

Pick it if: you need brand monitoring, sentiment and reports across the web, with Reddit as one source of many.
F5Bot Gold costs more than Syften's entry plan: $49.99 a month for 200 keywords, a Slack or Discord feed and AI filtering4. Awario is web-wide listening from $49 a month ($29 billed yearly) with a mode for finding people to answer8, and SlopMog vs Awario sets it against Brand24 too. Free tricks, keyword choice and what to do once an alert lands have their own post, Reddit keyword alerts, free and paid.
Tools that find threads and draft replies
Drafting tools find the thread and write a reply, then hand you the post button. You keep your own account and your own voice.

Redreach: from your site and 3 competitors
Redreach reads your website and your top 3 competitors to find posts, so you don't start from a keyword list9. Startup is $19 a month for 100 AI-guided reply suggestions, Growth $39 and Professional $79, with a $12 three-day pass to try it. In its own words: "You handle the final step: posting from your real account."
Pick Redreach if you want to reply yourself, from your own account, for the least money. SlopMog vs Redreach has the plan-by-plan math.
Subreddit Signals: inside the subreddits you pick
Subreddit Signals watches up to 10 subreddits you choose and sorts posts by buyer intent. Starter is $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, with 15 lead tokens a week, and the 14-day trial asks for a card10. It writes a suggested reply when you ask and "does not auto-post replies"11. Pick it if your buyers gather in a handful of subreddits you already know.
Replymer: Reddit and X in one queue
Replymer drafts a reply for each Reddit or X match: 30 a month on the $99 Starter plan, 100 on the $199 Growth plan. On Reddit you post it "from your own account in one click", X "publishes automatically", and every plan tracks AI visibility across six engines12. In June 2026 its homepage said a "publishing team" posted the replies13, so roundups that file it under done-for-you are out of date.
Pick Replymer if you want X and AI visibility tracking in one subscription. What changed at Replymer has the dates.
Tools that post comments for you
Four tools take the post button off you. Each posts from accounts that aren't yours, and at a $99 monthly budget the price per posted comment runs from $0.60 to $10. They're ordered by that price below, which puts SlopMog first, and every card says when to pick something else.
Price per posted comment at a $99 monthly budget
1. SlopMog
That's usBest for: threads found, comments drafted and posted, on Reddit and YouTube
Why it's #1 here: it has the lowest price per posted comment of these four at a $99 budget. It's also ours, so read the last line of this card.
Comments go out from aged Reddit accounts on a staggered schedule, and health checks later show which are still live and which were removed. Test the Waters is $99 a month for 1,000 credits (about 166 regular comments), Make Waves $249 for 2,700 and Own the Ocean $499 for 5,500. A High-Value comment, on a thread the AI models cite, is 60 credits ($6). Every plan and credit pack is on the pricing page.
Good at
- $0.60 a regular comment, and credits are spent only when a comment posts
- A draft for every thread in the thread's tone: edit it, regenerate it, approve it, skip it, or go hands-free
- Finds Reddit and YouTube threads every day from keyword groups it pulls off your site
- High-Value discovery asks Gemini, Claude, GPT and Grok 40 buyer questions and ranks the threads they cite
Watch out for
- No free trial (a 7-day refund on your first payment instead)
- No public API
- Reddit and YouTube only
- Monthly credits top back up at renewal rather than rolling over
Pick something else if: you want to post from your own account, you need X or LinkedIn, or you want a free trial first.
2. ReplyGuy
Best for: the cheapest way in, with X drafts too
Plans run from $49 a month for 100 credits to $499 for 5,000. For Reddit, its FAQ says "We use purchased accounts that will be provided to you via email within a few days of subscribing."14 SlopMog vs ReplyGuy runs the numbers plan by plan.
Good at
- A $49 entry with 100 credits, at 3 credits a posted reply
- About $0.60 a reply at $199/mo and $0.30 at $499/mo
- Screenshot proof of every reply
- A free brand audit in about 15 seconds, no account
Watch out for
- Found comments spend credits too, 1 each
- On X it drafts and you post
- Its homepage FAQ doesn't say what happens when a reply is removed
Pick it if: your budget is under $99, or you spend $199 or more a month and want the lowest credit cost per reply.
3. ReplyAgent
Best for: paying per comment, with no subscription
ReplyAgent posts from "our pool of authentic, aged Reddit accounts (100-10k karma)". Its pricing table says $4 a comment and its FAQ says $5, so we used the table15. More in SlopMog vs ReplyAgent.
Good at
- No plan needed: $4 a comment, $8 a post, and prepaid credits never expire
- Free if you post from your own accounts
- A published removal rule: 70% back ($2.80) if a comment is gone at the 24-hour check
- A 3-day trial on the $79/mo Basic plan
Watch out for
- Reddit only
- Discovery and AI drafts need Basic at $79/mo
- The same page's FAQ lists $5 a comment
Pick it if: you need a handful of comments a month and don't want a subscription.
4. CrowdReply
Best for: hand-picking threads, with an API and AI visibility tracking
CrowdReply sells placements by the piece, from $10 a comment on Starter down to $7 on Enterprise, posted "through established community accounts"16. SlopMog vs CrowdReply has a same-budget slider.
Good at
- API and MCP access on every plan
- AI visibility tracking across 2, 4 or 7 AI models, by plan
- A 7-day free trial
Watch out for
- $10 a comment on Starter, $15 with a link, $25 a post
- Starter's $50 of monthly credits covers about 5 comments
Pick it if: you want to choose each thread yourself, track AI visibility in the same tool, or need an API.
No tool in this section can promise a comment stays up, SlopMog included. The subreddit's rules, its mods and its readers decide that, and they mostly judge what the comment says. The Reddit guide covers what to write so a comment survives the sidebar.

When an agency makes more sense
An agency sells people rather than software: someone picks the subreddits, writes or approves the comments, posts them and reports back. You pay a retainer instead of a subscription. Subreddit Signals, for one, runs a managed service that starts at $2,000 a month, separate from its $29 and $59 plans11.
Moving on from GummySearch
GummySearch, the Reddit audience research tool, closed on Nov 30, 202517 because it couldn't reach a commercial license agreement with Reddit's Data API, and it deletes all user data on Dec 1, 202618. Its own alternatives page sends lead-finders to Redreach, ReplyAgent and Subreddit Signals, and says some of its links may be affiliate links19.

Questions people ask
What is the best Reddit marketing tool?
It depends on the job. As of Nov 3, 2026: Reddit Pro (free) for research, KWatch.io ($19/mo) or Syften ($29.95/mo) for keyword alerts, Redreach ($19/mo) for drafts you post yourself, and SlopMog ($0.60 a regular comment on a $99/mo plan) for comments posted for you.
Is there a free Reddit marketing tool?
Yes. Reddit Pro is free and tracks keywords in its Trends tab, though its help page doesn't mention alerts. For free email alerts, KWatch.io covers 2 Reddit keywords, and F5Bot covers 5 for personal use only.
What's the difference between a Reddit monitoring tool and a Reddit marketing tool?
A monitoring tool tells you a thread exists and stops there, like F5Bot, Syften or Octolens. A marketing tool also drafts the reply (Redreach, Replymer) or gets it posted for you (SlopMog, CrowdReply, ReplyAgent, ReplyGuy).
Which Reddit tools post comments for you?
SlopMog, CrowdReply, ReplyAgent and ReplyGuy, as of Nov 3, 2026. All four post from accounts that aren't yours, at $0.60 to $10 a comment at a $99 monthly budget. Redreach, Subreddit Signals and Replymer write replies that you post from your own account.
Is Reddit Pro free?
Yes. Reddit Pro's keyword Trends, business profile and post analytics cost nothing. It doesn't draft or post anything for you.
Will comments posted by a tool stay up?
Not always, and nobody can promise they will. Compare what each tool tells you when one goes: ReplyAgent refunds 70% if a comment is gone at its 24-hour check, and SlopMog's health checks show which posted comments are still live and which were removed. The comment matters as much as the tool, since the subreddit's rules, its mods and its readers judge what it says.
Get your brand into the threads people ask AI about
SlopMog finds the Reddit and YouTube threads in your niche every day, drafts a comment for each in the thread's tone, and posts the ones you approve from aged Reddit accounts.
