Reddit marketing agencies that publish their prices charge $650 to $15,000 a month, as of Nov 3, 202618. Tools cost $19 to $499 a month, and doing it yourself costs only your hours. So the number to compare is what one comment costs you, and how much of the work you still do.

SlopMog makes one of the tools below, and it isn't an agency. Every other price on this page was read on the seller's own site on Nov 3, 2026, and the numbered refs point to it. If you're going to do it by hand, start with how to market on Reddit without getting banned.

Agency prices, from $650 to $15,000 a month

An agency sells people: someone who maps your subreddits, writers who post from accounts they run or you own, and a report at the end of the month. Many don't publish a price and quote only after a call. These ones put a price on their own site.

The cheapest packages buy a fixed count. SaaSy Links' Start plan is $650 a month for 3 posts and 10 comments, and Dominate is $2,000 for 10 and 30. Both are month-to-month, and SaaSy Links replaces any placement that gets removed1. GrowReddit's Growth plan is $2,999 for 20 posts and 20 comments, with a three-month minimum7. Community Mentions Agency (formerly Just Reddit Agency) starts at $2,500 for 35 to 100 brand mentions, also for at least three months. Its $450 plan for local businesses runs on a five-month contract56.

Two sell by the piece. Verticality charges $50 a comment and $120 a post with a $1,500 minimum order a month, and posts nothing until you approve it3. OutreachBloom's $1,900 plan sends 50 drafted engagements a month to your inbox, ready for your team to post4.

Higher up, you're paying for strategy as much as for comments. Verticality's packages run $1,900 to $5,000 a month, month-to-month, and the $1,900 one covers 2 threads a week in up to 4 subreddits2. Siege Media quotes $5,000 to $15,000 a month with a six-month minimum, runs disclosed brand accounts that you own, and keeps Reddit Ads budgets separate from its fee8. Online Optimism bills Reddit-only work by the hours it spends on your accounts and doesn't publish the rate9.

Divide each package by the posts and comments it lists and the people-written options in the chart land between $38 and $74.98 apiece. Community Mentions Agency works out to $25 to $71.43, depending on where a month lands in its range. The tools come in at $10 or less.

Each bar is the entry plan's price divided by the posts and comments it lists (our math on each seller's published price). Agency prices also buy research, strategy and a report, which a tool's price doesn't.

That chart flatters the tools. An agency's fee also buys the subreddit research, the strategy call and the report, and some agencies write original posts, run AMAs or launch a branded subreddit. If you need those, the per-comment number is the wrong one to compare. SaaS teams weighing an agency should also read which subreddits let a SaaS product in at all.

Tool prices, from free to $499 a month

Tools split by how much of the job they leave with you, and the price climbs with each job they take. Alert tools tell you a thread exists. F5Bot's free tier is for personal use, and its business tier, Gold, is $49.99 a month for 200 keywords10. Syften starts at $29.95 a month and, in its own words, provides the mentions and gets out of the way11. The reading, writing, posting and checking stay yours.

Draft tools write the reply and stop there. Redreach starts at $19 a month for 100 AI-guided reply suggestions, and you post each one from your own account12. Posted-for-you tools charge per comment. ReplyAgent is $4 a comment with no monthly fee, posted from its own aged accounts13. CrowdReply's Starter plan is $99 a month with $50 of credits, at $10 a comment14. Both get a full side-by-side in SlopMog vs ReplyAgent and SlopMog vs CrowdReply, and the Reddit marketing tools roundup sorts the rest by job.

SlopMog sits in that last group: it finds Reddit and YouTube threads every day, drafts a comment for each, and posts the ones you approve on a staggered schedule, the Reddit ones from aged Reddit accounts. Test the Waters is $99 a month for 1,000 credits, and a regular comment is 6 credits ($0.60), so the plan covers about 166 comments. Health checks later show which of them are still live.

What doing it yourself costs in hours

DIY doesn't come with an invoice, which makes it look free. The cost is your hours, and nobody else can count them: they depend on how many threads you answer, how many subreddits you follow and how fast you write.

Count the coral cells below for a normal week, then drag the slider in the receipts at the top. The hour value starts at $37.87, the US median for marketing specialists in May 202515. If you're the founder, put in what your hour is worth to the business.

Who does each job at each rung. Every coral person is time that belongs on your DIY receipt, a tick is done for you, and a question mark means agencies differ: some post for you, some send drafts for your team to post. Cash figures are the entry prices from the table above.

The timesheet is also the case for doing it by hand. If you answer a few threads a week in a subreddit you already read, the hours stay small and the voice is yours, which no tool or agency sells. Writing a comment that stays up covers the craft, and the free Reddit comment generator will draft one for a thread you paste in.

A blank proposal for the demo brand Snoozly, with the questions that go in the margin. The numbers match the list below.
  1. Whose accounts post the comments, and does each comment say who it's for? Published answers range from disclosed brand accounts you own (Siege Media8) and named people who say who they work for in the comment (Verticality2) to the agency's own aged accounts (SaaSy Links1) and drafts your team posts (OutreachBloom4).
  2. Who keeps the accounts when you leave? Siege Media says you own your branded accounts, and Verticality says you keep your own accounts and the research82.
  3. What's the least you'll pay before you can stop? Multiply the fee by the minimum term: $30,000 at Siege Media's low end, $8,997 at GrowReddit, $650 at SaaSy Links.
  4. What happens when a mod removes a comment? SaaSy Links replaces it1. Verticality replaces a placement removed within a month of going up3. ReplyAgent refunds 70% if a comment is gone at its single 24-hour check13.
  5. Will the report link to live comments? A screenshot can't tell you whether a comment is still up a month later. A link can.
  6. Is ad spend included? Not at the agencies that say. Siege Media keeps Reddit Ads budgets separate8, and GrowReddit charges 15% of ad spend, at least $1,500 a month, to manage them7.

Agency, tool or DIY: which one fits

  • Do it yourself if you have the hours and a few subreddits you already read, or for a month before you pay anyone, so you learn what a good comment in your niche looks like.
  • Use a tool if you want the most comments for the money and you're happy to approve drafts. Alert and draft tools cost least, and posted-for-you tools take the posting too.
  • Hire an agency if you need strategy, original posts, AMAs, a branded subreddit or Reddit Ads run for you, and the budget covers the full minimum term.

Not sure? Three questions sort it.

Which kind of tool fits?

  1. 1.Do you want to write the replies yourself?
  2. 2.Do you need alerts in Slack or email?
  3. 3.What's your budget a month?

Answer the three questions and the kind of tool that fits shows up here.

You can mix them, too: answer the threads only a founder can answer, and let a tool cover the rest. The Reddit marketing guide covers the by-hand half.

Questions people ask

How much does a Reddit marketing agency cost?

$650 to $15,000 a month among agencies that publish prices, as of Nov 3, 2026. SaaSy Links starts at $650 for 3 posts and 10 comments a month, and Siege Media quotes $5,000 to $15,000 a month with a six-month minimum. Most agencies quote after a call, so get the price and the minimum term in writing.

How much does Reddit marketing cost?

From $0 to $15,000 a month. Doing it yourself costs only your hours, tools cost $19 to $499 a month, and agencies $650 to $15,000 (one has a $450 plan for local businesses). Reddit Ads spend comes on top of any agency fee.

Are Reddit marketing agencies worth it?

Yes, if you need what a tool doesn't do: subreddit strategy, original posts, AMAs, a branded subreddit or Reddit Ads run for you, and you can pay for the full minimum term. For comments alone, the agency packages that list a count work out to about $25 to $75 each, against $0.60 to $10 for posted-for-you tools.

What should I look for in a Reddit marketing agency?

A published price and minimum term, a straight answer on whose accounts post and whether comments say who they're for, a written policy for removed comments, reports that link to live comments, and clarity on who keeps the accounts when you leave.

Is a Reddit marketing tool cheaper than an agency?

Yes. The tools in this post cost $19 to $499 a month, and the cheapest agency package is $450 (local businesses) or $650. Per comment, posted-for-you tools charge $0.60 to $10 and agency packages about $25 to $75, though an agency's fee also covers strategy and reporting.

Do Reddit agencies post from their own accounts?

Some do. SaaSy Links posts from its own aged accounts, Siege Media runs disclosed brand accounts that you own, Verticality uses named people who say who they work for in the comment, and OutreachBloom sends drafts for your team to post. Ask before you sign.
